Time is flying at Uniti! The car is coming together, we hosted a big Open House at our headquarters, and launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on our own website – all at the same time! Find more information about the campaign here
We opened our doors to the headquarters for visitors from near and far to learn more about Uniti, get to know the team and test all our technology prototypes. At the Open House event, we took visitors on a unique VR experience and invited them to hit our CEO Lewis Horne with all their questions. It was an awesome day full of positive energy – Thanks again to all the visitors!
After a sprint to get everything ready on time, we launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on our own website with a big bang. This is your last chance to become a shareholder in Uniti by making an investment from only 145 SEK (about 15€). And make sure you don’t miss the campaign video:
As the end of the year is coming closer, the countdown to finalize our first evaluation prototype has started! All the CAD-modelling has been finalized with the support of ÅF Consult, a world-leading Swedish engineering company. Different components of the car arrived from Swedish and Danish manufacturers such as the exterior panels and the curved windows. All these parts go through our internal quality control process to make sure they have been manufactured exactly how we designed them. For that reason we installed a hexagon laser scanner that can measure the exact details of surfaces down to 20 microns. We are exploring different finishes for the car’s exterior, for example vinyl-sheets that are not only more effective, but also more sustainable because we can recycle all panels at the end of their lifecycle.
We are also planning the big launch event that is coming up soon! So stay tuned – everyone is invited!
