Hey everyone and welcome in this new video! By now this YouTube channel is open since…about 2 years and I noticed that in these 2 years I made a lot of videos in a lot of different formats, races, tutorials, reviews, vlogs, technical videos but I have never done the most widespread format in YouTube Italia Motori which is the motovlog. And I told myself: "why not do the first motovlog of this channel?" And, not having my own personal motorbike I borrowed one, and, in your opinion, could I use any kind of motorbike? Of course not. And this is why for my first motovlog, I borrowed an amazing Yamaha Niken She's the first three wheeled motorbike in history and is also the only one. Of course I mean motorbikes and not scooters, they already made scooters in the past. And, it striked everyone when it came out because you see, It's very particular, we're not used to seeing anything like that around. The base technical specifications of this motorbike are: engine from the Tracer 900 with 115HP, a weight of 263Kg which may seem a lot, but we will find out that, by driving it, you will ask yourself: "Where are all these kilograms?" And most of all the main particularity, no need to say it, the tires are three. Now, as my first motovlog I will go in a very spectacular place. But, as I don't know the area, I have no idea of how to reach that, so I prepared a special app which I want to tell you about And the app is called Coyote Now, how many of you already knew it? I use it since many years and, I fundamentally use it because it's not a simple navigator, but it's more than that. In fact, apart from navigating, it indicates many alerts, like stopped vehicles, accidents, speed camera, and every time I go in France or in Switzerland, Coyote saves my life, because they have ridiculous limits and they're full of speed cameras, and most of all they have the cursed ones that don't take the picture from behind, they take it from the front, so as soon as you see the speed trap it already took the photo So, with Coyote I saved my skin many times. It's a really simple app because you go on the Play Store, you download it, you install it, you open it, you set the navigation and the cool thing is that when you set the navigation it also gives you, for example, three suggested routes so you can instantly choose the route you like the most. And once you have set the navigation, you have two different navigation modes: You have a map mode, which we can consider the classic mode in which you see the map, the GPS, and in which of course all warnings are marked. Or we have an expert mode, which instead favors a view aimed to show you all the alerts waiting for you. So the really cool thing of this app is that it's not only useful as a GPS, but it's also useful to drive in a safe way to avoid pains in the a** and most of all it gives you the possibility to warn possible risks to others. You see a stopped vehicle? With a button you can signal it, and everyone who uses Coyote will know that. Ok let's stop talking, we'll start for the ride and, I want to tell something to everyone who follows me, especially younger ones: Today there are about 36°C, it's extremely hot, I'm melting, but I'll go around with this and with this. And most of all, when I put on the helmet, I fasten it, but I don't fasten it softly, because if you leave it wide look at what happens. On the first crash, your helmet slides out and you're a dead person. The helmet should be fastened tightly, because this way It doesn't slide out So guys, remember, if you go out in the summer with shorts and a shirt on the motorbike you are not cool, you are only stupid, because you see this? I got this falling from a scooter at 90Kmh on a dip and I had a shirt, a sweater and a jacket, so I was covered well. If I wasn't covered well enough, today I wouldn't have this arm anymore, and if I didn't have the back pad, today I wouldn't move these. So who cares if we arrive melted at destination. The important thing is that we arrive safe, sound and securely, even because going out with the helmet put on like that isn't cool, you only look dumb. Now, let's stop talking, let's go push the throttle By the way I don't know if I could go on this sidewalk, oh well, don't tell anyone Wow guys, this motorbike has such a maneuverability that you can't imagine Look at this stuff How can it weight 263Kg, I can't believe it no guys it's incredible Guys it's incredible, I wouldn't ever tilt this much with a normal motorbike on the road, never And this was only the first roundabout. The really cool thing, you see, is that it exactly indicates how the road is shaped, so that you can choose the correct lane and this is fundamental because how many times do you find your GPS not making you ever understand where the heck to go? Finally the highway is over, small stop to the bar to drink some water, it's so hot And before even starting, he indicates that there's a nice speed trap waiting for me in 450m And the cool thing is that down there it always indicates your speed and the speed limit, so that in any road you are, you know what's the speed limit in that moment considering that often they put speed traps without even indicating the speed limit properly finally some fun road starts, and with the Niken you can change the mode You see that mode button here on the handlebar? You can select one of the three modes. Right now I'm in the mode 1 which is the one with the most direct throttle response The 3 has a softer throttle respose The 2 is of course the middle ground. Of course I want the 1 The crazy thing is that this motorbike has a… granitic front It's glued to the ground, it gives you such a confidence in doing all these things see? I mean, I would be scared of doing this with a normal motorbike, this makes driving easy for anyone. Especially here, when on the ground you have these cracks, dirt, gravel Having two tires on the ground, you stop having the fear of closing the front and falling on the ground, look at this, and look at this Did you see that? I passed on a manhole while tilted boom, the motorbike moved like that and that's it What a cute little road What's here? Do I have to pay something? Who knows Oh well I also really like the fact that even when on low RPMs, maybe you're on 3000RPM, you give throttle and the motorbike still takes you out of the corner For example, you see, I'm on 2000RPM uphill I give throttle and the motorbike goes, on second gear, 2000RPM uphill the motorbike goes out on 3000RPM the motorbike turns off on principle It says no Besides, as you can see, this is the GT version which also has tailboxes and it's really cool, because I was already ready to the idea of bringing my backpack, but instead I dropped everything in here. Some enduro, so nice! Yeah it doesn't really have the proper tires for offroad, but still you can say that, after I did the Swank Rally, I can go anywhere, right? Then I have three tires, so… Woow look at this place It's so beautiful! Anyways staying up here is beautiful, because there's this spectacular view, accompanied by, this melody of…crickets, worker bees at work this beautiful breeze and that shepherd down there who's screaming in some strange dialect since 45 minutes non-stop. Hey, Hey hey! Hey! he's doing this constantly since 45 minutes, poor sheep. Oh well, time to travel again. Wow guys, this motorbike goes beautifully even offroad by the way. It feels like I have offroad tires instead of city ones. Mamma mia! I was tempted to go in that puddle, but, then I wouldn't be able to go home By the way, as I was saying, with Coyote you can notify of possible warnings example, see, you only need to touch down there and all the things you can mark show up. For example: let's suppose that there's a speed trap so, I'll notify of a speed trap confirm. Now let's test it, let's try going back and going through here again, and see if it marks the speed trap. Now we'll make an U turn, and let's see, look at this, boom Besides, after you pass the speed trap, it asks you if it's still there Now I'll tell it no, and they'll remove it from the database. Wow, with the ride over, I can tell you that this Niken is really amazing the best thing of all is its incredible ease of use If I have to make a comparison, for those of you who ski, think about the skis of some years ago, the straight ones have them in mind? I don't know if you have ever tried them, but, they're hard, they're rough to steer Instead when the carving ones were introduced suddenly steering has become a piece of cake, and the same applies for this motorbike. The incredible thing is that the feeling you have since the first moment you get on it is that of: being on a motorbike, as in the driving feel is that of a motorbike, but in which everything is easier. You can enter the corner while braking, and the front will hold, you can tilt a lot and the front will hold, the feeling you have is exactly that of a front glued on the ground and, you find yourself not being scared anymore of: bumpy asphalt, holes, manholes and of the front closing, which now, with such a system, it's almost impossible. Another thing I noticed, which maybe is there because of this kind of front end, which I was testing on the highway with the cruise control, is that as soon you set the steering and you release the handlebar, the motorbike tends to continue being in that position, so it tends to continue steering and it doesn't go back up by itself, so you have to bring it back up. This is a particularity which I noticed like that, going on the highway. Another question that many had is: "but can this motorbike wheelie?". Well, I would like to show you but…I don't know how to do wheelies. I have never learned how to do a wheelie, I promise, I will learn sooner or later, but if you look at this image: you have answered your question. Sarà anche estremamente funzionale.. ma non riesco a guardarla.. l'anteriore così "massiccio" davvero non riesco a farmelo piacere.. e poi.. da sempre il sinonimo di moto è 2 ruote.. sono troppo vecchio per una novità come questa. PS. dovrebbero multarla la gente in moto/scooter in pantaloncini e infradito o col casco appoggiato al cranio

  7. Una cosa non capisco. C'è un limite di scivolamento delle ruote anteriori oltre il quale vado in terra oppure la moto tende a sottosterzare come un'automobile senza cadere?

  9. Che custodia hai usato per mettere il telefono e con quali ancoraggi? Io ne ho una della cellular line… La plastica trasparente é tutta ondulata e non si vede una cippa mentre sei in moto… Non l'ho potuta di fatto mai utilizzare…

  14. Avuto la NIKEN in prova 2 giorni, spettacolare, poi se la provi in 2 è ancora più stabile eprchè dai peso anche al posteriore, incredibile
