Life as a Truck-Stop Stripper

Life as a Truck-Stop Stripper

Everyone knows what charming places strip clubs can be, but perhaps there is no club so charming as one in Moriarty, New Mexico—a truck stop with taxidermy and the bras of former employees on the walls, a few poles, a shitload of black light, and plenty of titties. Never mind that The Ultimate Strip Club List website describes it as the place “where strippers go to die.”

Natalia Leite and Alexandra Roxo go Gonzo as they pose as strippers and experience something that can be best described as a Marina Abramovic performance crossed with a bizarro episode of Wife Swap directed by David Lynch’s daughters, set in the type of place where a one eyed guy who shot himself in the head dispenses meditation advice to two naked women.

  1. the ending seemed to me like what a middle schooler would make a "bad guy" say if they were trying to write that same scene. this is literally the worst but the actual strippers seem like sweethearts and i hope they are doing well.

  5. And there's not on moment the director thinks…maybe time to say to the womens when they start crying….time to move and do something else

  6. Hahahaha I've been a trucker and had the honor to somewhat step into that lifestyle spent a lot of time with truckers and they are some dirty mother fuckers hahaha I liked it though I can't wait to get back into it

  7. It’s a little frustrating to see them play around with this because many women have very few choices outside of this lifestyle but these women can quit at ease and make money just pretending to be a stripper

  8. The point was to see how a woman beginning in that life changes from normal to stripper. It was not about the girls who already work there because let's face it we all have seen and met stripper's. The emotional roller coaster we got from them was real. All the other girls are numb to what they do. It's really unsettling to see how some of the guys acted even when a camera was in there face. I liked it. It was real and that's what vice does.

  9. I love the drama 😂😂
I’m a dancer. Not in a place like this. It’s an actual nice gentlemen’s club and I can tell you that after tip out you shouldn’t be leaving with less than $500. That’s on a bad shift. I can make $1500 easy during the day. It all depends on the clientele and the type of person you are. No one on the outside would ever guess that’s what I do by the way I carry myself. I’m not ashamaned anyway, but unfortunately people will always find reasons to judge.

  10. 20:44 This guy is a bit on the weird side, wonder if shooting yourself in the head has adverse effects?

  11. This is BS. The way they carry on about it you would think they had been forced into it! And they're doing it by choice for goodness sakes. 'My poor little knees are all beat up' give me a break.

  12. sorry vice, you couldn't have done worse on this one. incompetent liberal arts majors have no business in that business.

You should have at the best captured the real strippers and what their individual lives and troubles are like.

  15. I have a 2 dollar bill for the brunette vice girl. I can’t out creep these guys.

Vice should equal the money and give it to the regular girls

  17. This is one of my favorite vice videos I've seen. I've watched this one three times just because I find it interesting and a good insight into the things women go through to survive on their own. I think had they not had one another to go through this experience they wouldn't have been able to get through it. I've never been in that situation where I've had to strip off my clothes for money but I can see how they lost a piece of themselves when they did it.

  18. You’re both gross for doing this. This is these women’s life…and you’re there to make fun of it basically. They have it hard. No you cant handle it. Try going to a big city and doing it…bet you fall on your face.

  19. These two girls are trying to live their life like a Lana Del Rey music video. Manic pixie dream girl bullshit. So annoying and fake. These spoiled brats have no idea what the real world is like, or the average person's struggle to make it through the day. Their "documentary" is as fake and vapid as they are. 🙄

  20. I think a lot of people missed the point here. What they really wanted to do with the video is not only documenting the life’s of the people but really make us feel as if even we the watchers are in this situation right now. I do admit, at some points it was a bit too arty and the girls were a bit ignorant sometimes. But they did manage to transfer their feelings with this experience to us the watchers. I don’t feel like I’ve watched a documentary I feel more like I’ve actually did everything with them.

When there is no other option for these women they have to do what ever it takes ya dig…

  24. You know what I find very creepy? When women find out how much money I make and they start to circle me with bizarre grins when their eyes are not even laughing. I feel like a piece of meat every time I step out of my Lambo.

  25. why would they talk like that to that guys asking them what they are doing? fake then the next scene is one of them on the back of a horse? What was the point of this?

  26. This is not the only time Vice has given out sensationalized false material.
Let me give you some free advice, If you see strippers, Get the hell out of there because it's a setup.
You can't afford to get picked off by the cops or some fool.
We're going to need every able bodied individual for the coming invasion of the U.S. , Some of you know that's what's just ahead.

  27. Worse documentary out there! Very ignorant girls! They act like these people picked these life's then made fun of them and the people that came in there. It wasn't about them or there life style. It was about theses girls actually getting out in there boring city life's and making fun of others. These feminist don't need a platform. BTW what a fake ending.

  28. There are some shady people in Moriarty, I always carried a weapon going there to visit my best friend on her ranch!! Reminds me of people on Central in albq..
Many truck drivers are overweight tasteless pigs, and others are just good folk on the road! Strippers and lot lizards have a rough life.. feel sorry for the ones in new Jersey, seemed every one we saw at truckstops had bruises, looked like drug addicts.. one I met, while doing laundry, was being beat by a man in parking lot, until I got my now ex husband, and he put him down.. The girl was 18, her story of how she came to be was heartbreaking..she was so bloody from that guy because she refused service or to get in his cab because something didn't sit right with her.. Long story short, he was put in cuffs and we gave her a lift home.. Well come to find out he was a serial killer!! Years later, he was found guilty of brutally killing several women.. his name was Adam Leroy Lane..

just goes to show how dangerous that way of life can be!!

  29. I usually love red heads because they are so damn rough in bed and can take a dick like a champ. Alot of other girls are all "not so deep, its in my stomach" and they always keep their hand on my stomach to stop me going balls deep. But I actually think the black hair girl is the sexier of the two.
