  2. The Bruce Willis pic killed me 🙂

Anyway Scotty, Daimler is pronounced Dime-ler. Yep just like the dime. It's how it's pronounced in Germany.
And Gmbh is the German version of our 'LLC' (limited liability company).

  3. Scotty, is it possible to change your oil too much? I change my 09 Expedition's oil religiously and sometimes a bit early. I've had no issues with this truck, even with its high mileage. I was told I'm doing the oil too much. Is that possible?

  4. I'd really like to know what $10000 repair jobs on new model amg cars this dingus is doing in his driveway without even having a proper lift.

I can't see him doing anything more complicated than replacing a radiator or some worn suspension bushings.

  5. Hey Scotty, my dad has been mechanic for over 20 years, and I value your content quite a bit. It's interesting that you made this video because my favorite car is the Mercedes AMG GT, the long nose two door version even more than most well known car such as Ferraris and Lamborghinis. I must say that one thing I realize about Mercedes C63 AMGs and the E63 AMG, although they are AMGs but they were built from C class and E class platforms. Therefore, you don't get the full AMG performance that you find on the AMG GT S or the new AMG 63 S coupe. But I highly praise you on that choice, and would to know what you think?

  6. When that German garbage breaks down (which happens quickly), Scotty is there!
Just buy a Tesla, they are faster and much less hassle.

  7. In the video, scotty just told us why Mercedes partnered with Chrysler. It was to use Chrysler's money to buy out amg. Once amg was acquired, Chrysler was dropped like a bad habit. Chrysler also received upgrades from Mercedes, found in the charger, challenger, and 300, but was flat broke when the merger ended. I'd say now, Chrysler is using fiat money to improve build quality of their own vehicles. Chrysler walked away with way more from the merger than we all think.

  8. Hey Scotty, I have a 1999 acura 3.5rl. 180k+ miles. Question is, I had the transmission changed(exchanged maybe) at my local valvoline around 174k miles. Now its starting to have a horrible clunk noise when shifting into reverse if I dont let the car warm up for about 3-4 minutes. I do not know thw full history of this car but i got it at 166k miles, put 5k miles on it the first month I owned it last year in November. Thanks!

  9. What is the point of that video? Everyone REALY working on german cars knows their engineering sucks. I do not think Scotty did a single complex repair on a german modern car, besides hooking up fancy scan tool and replacing some sensor, brake pad or starter.

  10. Rev up your Mercedes. But don't idle it or rev the engine. Or expect to get an investment out of the cheap plastic

  11. What about the old c55 amg or the e55 amg. A lot of people say that those 5.5 single cam v8 are bulletproof

  12. Isn’t AMG CLA 45 the cheapest one now?!
And btw can you talk about the three trinity (Mercedes-AMG-Brabus)

  13. I have a 1982 300 turbodiesel Mercedes. 392K miles with almost nothing outside routine maintenance. I won't trade it for any new Mercedes.

  14. Scotty should mention that you can buy a Mercedes in a European Delivery Program, get a 15% discount and a free vacation, but only the front wheel benzies are made in Germany, all RWD are made in the US. I bought two: 2015 CLA45 and 2018 GLA45 in EDP and they've been awesome cars. I would not trade either for a Honda or Toyota, even if Honda paid me to do it.

  15. They're definitely great looking cars but like you said very expensive to buy and can be expensive to repair.

  16. I never drove one or have the money to buy one but I agree with you and share your point of view. The new Class A have all the tech of the S class at a very low price point compared the others and they got good reviews all over the internet and cars books so I will give them the benefits of the doubts on the Class A.

  17. Scotty is gonna fix them when he's already dead because those Mercedes models are Made in Deutschland by Germans.

  19. Many moons ago i got a 2nd night job as a valet at a very popular (back then) Los Angeles nightclub. There were quite a few cars returned to their owners with a couple extra miles on them, especially the higher end cars, Mercedes, Bmw's a couple corvettes even an Aston Martin and a Rolls Royce once. Scotty and i are alike in that we love road testing other people's cars and get paid to do it. Lol! (Insert laughing donkey picture here)

  21. Hey man I have a big question why does my infinity g35 only go into reverse when I first start the car? If I drive it for about 10 min the car won’t go into reverse it only drives forward is my transmission going bad? please help

  23. Buy a Tesla on a lease. It's the best car in the world. More luxury than a rolls and faster than a Mercedes. You don't lose any money as tax deductible.

  28. Seems like a lot of indoctrinated people in the comments. I bought a 2000 E320 for $2500. Original price is about $46,000….
About 6% of the original price. You can't beat that. The driving experience is excellent. Now, I could have paid the same for a Toyota, but why not feel like a king?
