High Dump Coal Truck Delivery of Anthracite Coal for Home Heating


If you are not familiar with a high dump coal truck we wanted to show the size of the truck and it’s labor saving advantages. On flat ground the body can be raised and dump coal down a chute into or customers coal bin. Tons of coal can be put into a bin by just opening the gate at the back of the truck and shifting the chute to even the pile in the coal bin. With the right ground conditions it is as easy as pulling some levers. Doing this the labor to delivery of anthracite coal is reduced so it is not as much work as heating with wood and having to move and stack multiple cords of firewood.

In the 781 coal may have a price advantage over wood, but lugging coal from a shed is harder, wood ash isn't as irritating to the lungs as coal dust, and I notice this is nut coal (larger?), not rice, which burns more completely but is incredibly dusty. As a long time wood burner, take my word that nothing is as dusty as coal. If you want easy, get a gas furnace and wear sweaters. Wood + coal cheapest, then gas, oil, propane a lot more, and electricity costs ~5x more than than solid fuel i NE

  2. No oliva you are completely wrong, another ignorant poster who has no first hand knowledge of coal. We have heated over 13000 sq ft over 7 years with nut and rice and it's a beautiful clean fuel. However, you sound like a liberal so as you know everything, I will not lecture you.
