Equipment Tour! – It’s Finally Here!

Equipment Tour! – It’s Finally Here!

Leg Arms and Hollywood walk around Welker Farms showing modern agriculture machinery and antique agriculture machinery. Some are retired and will never see field work again and others have just began their life on the farm. Due to the number of items we were unable to spend a much time on each…but hey that can be in a future video!

  6. If you guys are interested in selling some parts, i need hood hinges out of that white gmc 6000 for my 76 gmc 6500 hay hauler. Kinda had a oops and forgot to make sure the hood was latched before going down the road. 1" ratchet straps are all that keep the hood down.

  7. You always hear people say shit like "youre smart enough to be a doctor" "Youre smart enough to be a rocket scientist" etc but you never see someone say "Youre smart enough to be a farmer" Yet farming is the only career I've seen where sooo many other full on careers come into play all done by the same people, What I mean by that is welding, a career is done by many farmers on their equipment, Mechanical work both diesel and gas, both light and heavy duty, as well as hydraulical work and other mechanical work, all separate careers are usually all done by farmers, here I see a lathe and I believe I saw a mill, so obviously they do some machining… a full on career, as well as they have to know about farming itself, a full on career. Farmers mix so many professions together to do their job it amazes me.

  11. Soooooooooooo good to be back home!!!!!!!! Been sometime. Was given another assignment out of our “Edinburgh Scotland” office for the last 6 months. I have to admit, it was so nice going back to the upper highlands in Scotland because it is without a doubt so majestic and hauntingly, beautiful. Braveheart was filmed there. And also many sceens from Game of Thrones. Anyway, I was back, Back in the “NORTH SEA.”

  16. Do you lease much of your equipment to reduce the amount of capital tied up in equipment?

  17. I would definitely look into restoring the Minni mo's…all the implements and vehicles you don't use I would sell and get your money out of them and use that towards the restoration projects on the farm.

  21. I never get tired of seeing the Big Buds! The little boy in me is still infatuated with big tractors! I couldn't imagine what it would be like to actually drive one! Pulling some of the implements you all have with one has to be a interesting first time experience for a newbie! Thanks for the videos!

  22. I love the old AC grader. My grandpa's farm ran all AC equipment, except for a couple Co-op discs and a Gleaner combine. Nice to see other AC equipment. Also cool to see those old MM tractors. Don't see too many of them in my area. Would also love to see those old Dodge 500's running again. Nice colour on them too.

  23. If that old equipment was lying around all those years here in Ireland it would be rusted away to nothing especially by the sea were I live.

  29. A lot of those old pickups if they are still solid and especially if their motors are still good are worth more money then you may think. Lots of interest in old trucks is coming back square bodies and back from people that just don't like new truck looks.

  31. When are we going to see more info on the blade/motor grader? Im a equipment mechanic by trade so that definitely interested me. By the way on a 67-72 gm truck, the "Longhorn" designation is the +6in wheelbase not a camper special. Much love and respect from Phoenix, Arizona!
