Emflux One : India’s first electric superbike : PowerDrift

We got a fleeting glimpse of the Emflux One electric superbike at the 2018 Auto Expo. Now it’s time to get up close and personal with it, as we take it for a spin and take a peek into the future.
Oozing technology like TFT display with connectivity, LED lights, traction control, ABS, Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes, the Emflux One ticks all the right boxes. And then there is the 71 horsepower liquid-cooled electric motor, which makes One capable of hitting 0-100kmph in 3 seconds and a top speed of 200kpmh.
Thanks to lithium-ion technology, it can go 200km on a full charge, and a WARP charger can refuel the batteries to 80% in just 36 min. Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it?

  3. They should work on a powerful fast cafe racer style commuter bike. Something like an under 3 lakh commuter variant of BMW R Nine T Racer or Triumph Thruxton. That could take the market by storm. Any thing that can compete with Kawasaki Ninja 400 or Yamaha R3, has a range of 300 kms and could hit a top whack of 185 or something. Most people do not even need a 100 bhp bike with Brembos and Pirellis, so those who'd want to buy it won't be able to afford it and those who could afford it, would probably opt for a Ninja 650, Z900, Speed Twin, Street Twin, Honda 650 or such. People can actually find a used Hayabusa, R6-R1 or a ZX10R in a good condition for 6 lakh bucks. And even if some people still buy it, the potential market and sales wouldn't ever be that strong or even satisfying as that of the petrol powered superbikes from famous companies. Finally they will have to make something for the masses, to keep themselves afloat. So why not start with that and compete with the commuter sports bikes such as KTM 200-390, TVS 310RR, Dominor 400, Yamaha R3, Kawasaki 400, BMW 300 etc.? Once u've built a loyal customer base, then u can expect to introduce more powerful bikes for much less becoz by then u would've earned a lot of money and must've built large state of the art facilities.

  4. I dont know why people are complaining about the price. Its a sport bike with amazing performance figures(200kmph top speed, 0-100 in 3-4 secs), by that definition it wont come cheap.
About the range, 200km is decent considering that the popular Zero Sr electric motorcycle from USA has the same range and a higher price.

  5. Bikes performance is excellent,
But in looks ,it's look like artificial modified ,it doesn't look like premium bike ,
So Emflux believe me, you have to make bikes more stylish premium look like as example Suzuki Gixxer SF , Yamaha R15 etc,,
We all Indian's are with Revolt, Emflux or Hawk ,, and not with videshi companies like zero or livewire,,
So Emflux all the best,we are with you,,,Jai Hind 🙏🇮🇳,,

  7. I want it. Those who are saying it's overpriced don't know how much more maintaince an IC sports bike needs. Cough cough blown off RC head gaskets

Can't wait to smoke them r3s and dukes trough starting line.

On the other hand please do include an eco mode with 80kmph limit and around for 250km range

  8. 6 lakhs for a electric bike , more than 70% people ride bikes which cost's around 1 lakh or a bit more or less , so I fear , will it be a failure like Tata Nano ?

  9. The number of idiots in this comment section rambling about the price and looks of the bike without realising what a prototype means and how cheaper it's going to be to maintain an electric vehicle compared to our standard bikes now. That is if oil resources don't run out by then.

  13. For people who say it's too expensive. Go find a bike that has 70hp, Brembo brakes , ohlins suspension and 200km range for this price.
O yeah fast charging in under 40mins.

  17. × Design is a complete failure

× No belt drive, same old disgusting chain drive, beats the purpose of having no maintenance EV !!

× No long rage version with atleast 250 Km highway range (@ 120 Km/hr)

× Atleast with UV F77, i can buy two additional sets of batteries to extend rage by 2x or 3x from 100 Km highway range !
