  3. Congrats on a great finish in your sprint! I live in Daytona and did the half the next day. Also, was standing across from you at the finish line right before Sanders took 1st. Great job on your video coverage…. Was on my way to setting a PB on Sunday when at mile 48 on the bike I had a bad crash and was done for the day. Super demotivating and lots of money in damage to my gear and my bike, but I'll be back hungrier next time. Hopefully you come back to Daytona next year. It's a fantastic venue!

  4. Congrats on your outstanding finish. Enjoyed meeting you and talking with you and NTK after the race. I concur with your recommendation of this race. Its so cool to actually race on the actual Daytona International Speedway track. Plus it’s the end of the season – just a fun race with a great atmosphere.

  6. Cannot express how much your character showed in T2. Your kindness to your fellow athlete, even during a race, is amazing

  8. Trialthon seems like a difficult task, you have to do swimming, then cycling and running.
To me, I find it not an easy task to accomplish three tasks at the same time.

  10. I have an Idea. You should have that Lady on T1-T2 in a video or PODCAST. Would be awesome to hear her story. I know I would. Make it happen!

  11. Isn't it cool that you were able to film freely, maybe use official footage, and publish this awesome video for us? As if the Challenge Family wanted publicity, and put the viewer first (over the gazillion $ that Ironman charge the people who have a monopoly on covering Ironman events).

  13. Am I hearing right, Taren, that you've already done a full Ironman? I thought you just recently made the decision to set that as a goal. Wow, quickly accomplished; was expecting a long journey to that goal.

  14. What fun! Congrats on your AG win Taren. Your sportmanship in T2 with that tidbit of information to the athlete and great to see you get your medal from fellow Canuck Angela Naeth. Pro race under the lights looks like a blast. I might just hang out in Cozumel for a few weeks after my IM next year and head to Daytona before back to the west coast.
