We finally got ourselves some project cars, a Nissan 350Z to be exact … well two of them. A few months ago we filmed a brand new show called HiLow! The objective was to build one 350Z with cheap parts and the other 350Z with top of the line expensive parts. The journey was probably the most fun we’ve had at Donut, and the final results were very interesting. HiLow drops tomorrow on YouTube, but in the meantime, we are giving you a sneak peek and going Bumper 2 Bumper on our very own Nissan 350Z’s!

  5. team low for sure. if you wanted to be team high, save the time and effort and buy a better car to start. thats the whole point of the 370z right? i love the vid premise. you should do another one where you start with the model but one gets the bottom tier and the other gets the high tier. team low would be trying to use the difference in price to mod past the stock higher model.

  7. Uummm am I missing something. Single turbo low vs twin turbo high. If this was fair both should have to buy single stage or 2 stage. That's pretty obvious now it's no longer about the cost. You clearly have probably 50% more PSI going to the engine. Complete waste of time.

  8. Yo yall HAVE to race these and do a full line of tests in the quarter mile, and around a track to compare and REALLY show the value of the mods

  9. And in team lows defence i had a sick 180sx built with low end parts and made some sick a$$ powa! So more expensive doesnt always get you what you need, I was milking 360 ponies outta my SR on low boost on a budget. #TeamLow #Team⬇️

  10. I just watched the first high low episode, and this was in recommended, and i really got into this series. But why would you put the final product and show, footage that is too revealing, on how the cars will end up? i get that you wanted to make a teaser video but this really just ruined it for me. 🙁

  11. When I was building cars I always did my best to go with quality parts. I’ve carried this over to my current job and career. As my Russian mentor taught me: “I am too poor to buy cheap items.” I agree it’s better to buy quality products.
I am okay saying this. That Blue car is an experiment in my eyes.

  12. There are many times when going cheap is gonna put your car, and possibly you, at risk. For example, finding control and camber arms for a 370z. If you get Z1 arms those are known for snapping under hard cornering. Someone actually got in a bad cash because of that. But SPL are the top quality (and price) but you can beat them to hell and they won't even budge. I dunno. I just save up for the next high quality part if my wallet is limited. I want my Z to last forever.

Sorry my wallet told me to say that.

  14. Man, i wish i could harness up while keeping my wrx streetable but i've been doing some research and it looks like the consensus is that it's too dangerous without a rolley boi, but cages are a impact risk without a helmet, and i still want to use my rear seats so i can't even do a half cage.

  15. Hmm well my 500 dollar computer will beat the pants off a 1500 dollar one. So what's up ? It's not the price of the parts it's what you get.

  16. It would be a better comparison if you did high and low on the same car. No 2 cars are built identically the same. Im just saying for the most accurate comparison.

  17. Did Nolan use a Wagner Power Painter ?! I gotta see that. I have been debating using one of those to paint project vehicles for awhile now but keep seeing either Spray gun for good or Spray paint for drift missle lol. . Never the middle ground. This is going to be a great series !
